Firestone
Entering its 14th IRL IndyCar Series season in 2009, Firestone remains the only tire manufacturer to have participated in every IRL event since the inaugural race in 1996. In 2001, Firestone became the Official Tire of the Indy Racing League and the Indianapolis 500. Speaking of which, Firestone has accumulated a total of 58 victories at the Brickyard and are proud to boast their presence on the winning car of Ray Harroun in the very first running of the Indianapolis 500 in 1911, just two years after debuting the brand as a race tire.

Since their debut in 1909, founder Harvey Firestone and his company has won more than 100 major series championships and Firestone equipped drivers have earned more than 1,500 documented wins in 22 major racing series, competing on oval tracks and road/street courses around the globe.
