ORLANDO – The Indy Racing Experience, the ultimate experience for race fans and car enthusiasts, is celebrating its first summer at the Walt Disney World® Speedway at Walt Disney World® Resort in Lake Buena Vista, Fla.  Since expanding its Indianapolis-based operations to the Orlando area last November, the Indy Racing Experience has provided thrill seekers an opportunity daily to both drive and ride in actual cars that were used in past Indianapolis 500 events.

Fans can take the ride of a lifetime in the Indy Racing Experience’s customized 2-seat IndyCar, which has reached speeds up to 160 miles per hour on the backstretch of the Walt Disney World® Speedway, for 3 laps at a rate of $109 plus tax.  For the adventurers looking to get behind the wheel, the driving program is $399 plus tax for 8 laps around the 1-mile, paved tri-oval located just outside the gates of the Magic Kingdom® Park.
